Applying to college is a project management problem wearing an emotional disguise. We expect to take on interns as the product grows — engineering, design, content, and admissions research.

Nothing is open yet. This is an interest list, and we’ll treat it as one: a real email from a person when something opens, and no email in the meantime.

You won't be asked to cut corners

Katalyna refuses to ghostwrite essays, invent a school's requirements, or fabricate a testimonial. Those aren't slogans — they're enforced in the code. If that sounds like a constraint you'd enjoy working inside, we'll get on.

Applicants are the customer

Most of the money in admissions comes from families who can already afford a consultant. We're built for the ones who can't — students who get about 44 minutes of counselling a year.

Small surface, high standards

You'd work on something real within your first week and see it used. You'd also be expected to check that it works, not just that it compiles.

We'd rather say no than string you along

There's no role open right now. This list exists so we can write to you when there is, instead of posting a job and ghosting a hundred people.
